Founded in 1953, S.M.B. is a Belgian, independant, integrated pharmaceutical company specialized in:
- Research & Development of pharmaceuticals in the field of oral drug delivery systems (GALENICs).
- Manufacturing of products of SMB's own galenical development, both prescription and over-the-counter products.
The activities of S.M.B. involve new formulations and/or new chemical entities, clinical testing, registration and production of pharmaceutical products both in the US and EEC utilizing both conventional and advanced drug delivery technologies.

Since more than 50 years, S.M.B. uses its experience, its know-how and the best existing technologies to identifie and develop its own pharmaceutical
